Allegra Silbiger (New York, NY, USA) earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in Religious Studies from Brown University before travelling to Europe to study early vocal ensemble music at the Brabants Conservatorium, Netherlands, and medieval music performance practice with Barbara Thornton in Cologne, Germany. She has toured internationally and recorded with the medieval music ensemble Sequentia and has performed with ensembles Ordo Virtutum and CosMusica. She resides in Berlin, where she is a member of ensemble Vox Nostra. Recent projects include the artistic direction and performance in Nokturn, a series of twelve late-evening medieval music performances in Berlin-Mitte.
