Amy Green (San Francisco Bay Area, Ca. USA) received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Diploma in Early Music Singing from the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen, Germany, studying voice and ensemble singing with Richard Wistreich. She performs in Europe and North America as a member of ensembles Elysium, Kusskuss, and Vox Nostra, and in collaboration with such groups as Ensemble Penalosa, Cappella Confluentes (Koblenz), Collegium Vocal Zürich, Ordo Virtutum, and the Magnificat Baroque Orchestra (San Francisco, Ca.). Amy is a versatile singer whose interests range from early music to theater, improvisation, and contemporary music. Recent stage projects include Ninfamania, a production combining early baroque Pasticcio and physical theater in collaboration with The Actors Gang (Los Angeles, Ca.), and Requiem Amoris, a staging of music of John Dowland. She resides in Berlin, where she works with avant-garde theater director Holger Friedrich.
